Use of personal data of our customers in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation

Dear customer,

For months we have been preparing for compliance with the GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation, which was enforced on the 25th of May 2018. Soon, the application of this text will be effective and mandatory.

As you already know, we are facing a major legislative change, both as for its content as for its geographical scope within the European Union.

Under the applicable laws on data protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (general act from the EU 2016/679), the SARL NBD is responsible for the processing of data (data controller), with legal address registered in

In order to offer you better services and for more protection of your personal data, we will comply with the new obligations and different approaches enforced by this legislation.

We commit to guarantee you:

        I.            Transparency (articles 12, 13 and 14 of GDPR). The data we collect are those you give us when you make an order, that is your name, surname, address, phone number, e-mail address. We cannot access your payment information. By submitting these data, you accept that we collect and process these data to provide you with the information, products and services that you requested. In this case, the legislative basis for the processing is the article 6 (1) (a) of GDPR. We can also use your data to comply with our contractual obligations with you as a customer (e.g. in case of a problem with an order). In this case, the legislative basis for the processing is the article 6 (1) (b) of GDPR. We keep your data as long as necessary for providing you with the information, services and offers that you asked for or for fulfilling our duties deriving from any contract.

      II.            Privacy on the utilization of your personal data (article 32 to 36 of GDPR). The data we collect are not sold or supplied to any other third company. They are used exclusively for the purposes of the activities of the NBD Sarl.

    III.            The right to be forgotten or deleted: every concerned person has the right to ask the responsible of the data processing for full or partial deletion of personal data. For this purpose, please send us an e-mail at info@rczbikeshop.com.

    IV.            You also have the right to know, at any time, how are your data being processed.

  1. E-mail addresses are collected for the purpose of sending you our offers with our daily newsletter. The data you enter when you make an order are used for the shipping and fiscal address.
  2. If you do not wish to receive our newsletters anymore and you wish to be cancelled from our database, we invite you to send us a message using our contact form or via e-mail at info@rczbikeshop.com
  3. You also have the right to consult, claim and change your collected and processed personal data. For this purpose, you only need to contact us via our contact form or via e-mail at info@rczbikeshop.com together with a copy of your ID.
  4. If we do not receive any e-mail from you, your consent for the processing of your data is taken for granted, in accordance with the agreements mentioned above.
